Physiotherapy for Runners and Endurance Athletes in Victoria, BC

You’re not just looking to finish the race — you want to perform at your best, whether that’s shaving minutes off your PR, building mileage without constant setbacks, or finally feeling confident on long runs.

At Apollo, we specialize in helping runners and endurance athletes break the cycle of injury and inconsistency. Our approach goes beyond ‘just rest’ — we use a structured 5-stage process to rebuild strength, efficiency, and resilience so you can keep training, stay healthy, and peak when it matters most.

We’ve worked with athletes from 5K first-timers to ultra-marathoners and Ironman competitors. Whether you’re chasing your next podium or simply want to enjoy running without pain, we’ll help you get there

How traditional physio falls short:

  • You get the same exercises as everybody else with a similar pain, no matter if they are trying to get back to running or not.

  • Focus on treating pain, with no long-term plan to build your capacity to tolerate longer or faster runs.

  • Lack of strength and conditioning knowledge to help you determine how much, how often, and when to do it in your running plan.

  • "Ease back into it" as they main return to run plan with no clear guidelines or structure in place.

Our Pain Free Running Process

  • Runners of all levels - first-time 5K to Boston Qualifying Marathoners

  • Triathletes and Ironman Competitors

  • Recreational runners that are looking to run for health rather than performance

  • Cyclists and Rowers that are looking to deal with repetitive injuries

Who we help

Mike - Victoria, BC

Can’t say enough about Jacob and Apollo. I was super discouraged after knee surgery and he has me right back on track. Jacob is so knowledgeable and optimistic and I really appreciate his style. I’m now confident I’ll be back to running and sports in the near future. He has been the key component of my recovery.

Your path to performing pain-free

1

Book an Initial Assessment

At the Initial Assessment we will go through your injury background, symptoms, and goals for return to running. This is followed by a comprehensive physical exam looking through full body mobility, strength, and coordination to determine our best starting point to get you running as quickly as possible.

2

Execute the Plan

Your plan will consist of some combination of 1-on-1 sessions, small group rehab gyms, and personalized rehab programming that progresses with you through your plan of care.

3

Return to Performance

Return to running with confidence, knowing that you put in the work and you have a body that is ready to do what you need. You will leave our care understanding how YOUR body best responds to training, how strength training fits into your endurance training schedule, and when to see the signs of injury before they happen.
