Physio for Powerlifters, Olympic Weightlifters, and Barbell Enthusiasts in Victoria, BC
You don’t just ‘work out.’ You train. You put in the reps, eat for recovery, and structure your life around getting stronger. The last thing you want is some physio telling you to take time off or avoid squats.

At Apollo, we speak barbell. We know what it takes to grind for that next PR, and we’ve built a 5-stage system that keeps lifters like you healthy, strong, and progressing. Whether it’s a bum shoulder, cranky knees, or a back that won’t stop barking, we’ll get you back under the bar — and moving better than before.

We’ve worked with powerlifters, Olympic lifters, and strength athletes from their first meet to the national stage. If you’re serious about lifting, you need a rehab and performance plan built for the platform, not the sidelines.

Our fully stocked gym will make sure that we can get you back under the barbell as soon as possible, with true assessment of your technique under load.

How traditional physio falls short:
-
Being told to "rest" instead of finding ways to keep you training as you recover.
-
Lack of equipment or space to truly assess and progress your lifts. That pink dumbbell and loop band just aren't going to cut it.
-
Lack of experience with performing or coaching the barbell lifts (if they even know what they are).
-
Over-focus on reducing pain, with no long term plan to get you back under the barbell besides "ease back into it."

Who we help
Your path to performing pain-free

1
Book an Initial Assessment
At the Initial Assessment we will go through your injury background, symptoms, and goals for training. This is followed by a comprehensive physical exam looking through full body mobility, strength, and barbell technique to find the starting point to getting your symptoms under control and back to training.
2
Execute the Plan
Your plan will consist of some combination of 1-on-1 sessions, small group rehab gyms, and personalized rehab programming that progresses with you through your plan of care.

We have a fully stocked gym with barbells, racks, dumbbells, and kettlebells to make sure that you won't go underloaded during your time working with us.
3
Return to Performance
Return to lifting with confidence, knowing that you put in the work and you have a body that is ready to do what you need. You will leave our care understanding how YOUR body best responds to training, the best technique cues for you, and how to adjust your training for any goal or any issue that comes up.
