Jacob hails from Fargo, North Dakota and graduated from the University of Jamestown with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017.

While attending university Jacob had the opportunity to play basketball and football at the collegiate level. Unfortunately, throughout his athletic career he struggled with shoulder and knee pain finding no relief. This ultimately led him to a career in physiotherapy.

Frustration with typical treatment models, and early graduation from care, prior to full return to activity, forced him to ask himself how he could offer more. Apollo Performance Therapy was born to provide a better, more complete care model.

​

Jacob has multiple certifications including, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), Blood Flow Restriction Training, Clinical Athlete of the Fitness Athlete, and is a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer. His diverse skillset allows him to take his clients through the full rehab process, and not stopping until they're back to all of their desired activities.

Exercise truly is medicine, and Jacob is excited to be bridging the gap between the rehabilitation process and strength training.
