You don't want to just recover from surgery and get out of pain. You are looking to get back to playing the sport you love, and more than that, perform in a way that lets you continue to compete for seasons to come.

During sports physio at Apollo, we take you through a 5-stage Rehab Process to ensure that you are prepared for everything you will encounter in your sport. That includes clear goals and tests to know exactly when you are ready for the next phase of rehab.

We've worked with athletes ranging from youth to professional, in a variety of sports covering the field, court, pool, and mountain. Our staff have extensive history of competing at the University level, and continue to compete in various competitive levels to this day. 

The problem with most return to sports rehab plans:

  • Lack of a clear plan or guidelines on when it is safe for you to return to your sport.

  • Focus on timelines over objective data (i.e. "Start running at 3 months post surgery" when you may not have the strength or endurance to do so).

  • Limited strength and conditioning to fully prepare body for physical demands of sport.

  • Increased risk of re-injury without proper testing to determine readiness.

  • High School athletes recovering from injury or dealing with pain in their sport.

  • Recreational athletes looking to return from injury without losing a step.

  • Athletes looking to reduce the risk of future injuries by properly rehabbing their current ones.

  • Anybody looking to learn how to take care of their bodies so they can play their sport (and be competitive) for as many years as possible.

  • Athletes looking to fully recover from ACL or Achilles injury and be able to perform at their previous level, or better.

Book an Initial Assessment

At the Initial Assessment we will go through your injury background, symptoms, and goals for return to sport. This is followed by a comprehensive physical exam looking through full body mobility, strength, and coordination to determine our best starting point.

Execute the Plan

Your plan will consist of some combination of 1-on-1 sessions, small group rehab gyms, and personalized rehab programming that progresses with you through your plan of care.

Return to Performance

Return to your sport with confidence, knowing that you put in the work and you have a body that is ready to do what you need. Many of our clients report feeling stronger and more athletic than pre-injury after they finish working with us.
